Scharff Brushes at 50% discount The Chapter is taking orders for Scharff brushes. You will receive a 50% discount and the chapter receives a small amount of each order. Great way to make money on something we all use and Scharff Brushes are wonderful brushes. They make Ronnie Bringle brushes, the brush Arlene Linton uses for her beautiful lace and the supreme scrip brushes (also known as onion brushes!). Sharron White says they have great brushes to use with Genesis also. Check out the catalog at all the meetings and place your order.
Tuscany Inspired Craft Show JJ Pearce Show in November
The chapter's main fund raiser of the year will be a craft show in the fall featuring Tuscany inspired items. The Tuscany theme is very popular and there are so many items that can be painted in this theme. Here are a few items that have been started for the show:
Members, start painting now for the show. Think of Grapes on many items, Tuscany country side scenes, Wine Glass holders, wine racks, Trays, boxes, glasses, coasters, etc. that fit the theme.

The 2005 Yellow Rose SDP Members Only Raffle is a Jewelry Box painted by Nancy Genetti from a design in Kathleen Whiton's book, Pretty in Paint.
The third Sharyn Binam piece will be auctioned at the May meeting. It is a gorgeous rose. The lucky winner of this piece is Betty Roberts.
The lucky winner of the second Sharyn Binam piece, purple iris, is Nancy Genetti. We are most grateful to Sharyn for her wonderful donations. The chapter members are able to obtain a piece of Sharyn's work and the auction money goes to the Chapter Ways & Means fund.
A seminar was held with Sharyn Binam, who graciously donated her three teaching samples to the chapter. It was decided that we would auction them at meetings throughout the year. The lucky winner of the Hibiscus is Ellen Rich. Congratulations Ellen!
Marge Bode donated a sample of the Santa she taught at the January meeting. It was Raffled and the lucky winner is Pansy Anderson.
The 2005 Yellow Rose Raffle piece is an Angel Tree painted by Kathleen Ruyle, from a design of Rosemary West.

2004 Craft Show Kathleen Ruyle, Donna Williams, and Doris Woodruff sold quilt tickets and items that members had donated at the Mary Immaculate Church in the fall.

Look at the wonderful quilt. It has been painted by members of our chapter. Each square has a different flower and Faith Younse quilted around each flower design and embellished them with crystals, beads, etc. The entire quilt was then assembled and quilted. You have to see it to believe it.

2003 Raffle Lori Bean wins the Table Runners! This year's Raffle item is 4 Seasons Table Runners painted by members. Rick Van Ryn painted the Summer Scene, Lori Bean the Winter Scene, Elizabeth Angeny the Spring Scene and Nancy Genetti the Fall Scene.
