Houston Art has created a fabulous kit containing everything you need to create a stunning foiled mini charger plate. For a $5.00 supply fee you will receive: 6 sheets of Easy Gold Leaf, thick adhesive, foil sealer, Power Wash brush cleaner, leaf stencil, paint pouncers, 9” diameter plastic charger plate and more! At the conclusion of the March business meeting join Susan Mynyk, TDA for a “hands on”, and instructional lesson on Side-load Floating. This informative afternoon program will systematically examine many of the components necessary to achieve transparent, well placed floats. Emphasis will be on selecting the correct brush size, successful brush loading, side to side floating and getting “on & off” your surface. Class will be approximately 90 minutes. Supplies: Students will need to bring 3 flat brushes suitable for floating. Please bring Sizes #10, #14 and #18 or larger and one bottle of your favorite color of acrylic paint. A wet palette is suggested but not required. If you have Easy Float water conditioner, please bring it along!
