The next phase begins...... The next part of our meeting room to be painted is the "niche" or "pass-thru" area near the kitchen. It will be a Linda Wise design "Topiary with Roses and Dove" painted by Doris Woodruff. Doris has also been kind enough to offer to teach a seminar after painting the "niche". See picture The work begins in July
Doris has worked many hours on the Niche. Here she is painting at the March Meeting.
The Niche is finished:
IT'S FINISHED! The mural is finished! It took 25 members over 500 hours to complete, but it is beautiful. See for yourself:
The Yellow Rose Chapter is now meeting at the King of Glory Lutheran Church in a nice large room with plenty of light and as a bonus, wonderful catered lunches. In exchange for the meeting room the members are painting murals in the church. Our first is a mural and faux stone columns in the room we meet in. Artist's Rendering of Mural
